We need to add a ready-to-go bruising running back to this class. I don’t care if he is HS, juco, grad transfer... just get him.

Good old Memorial Gym
I am in a great mood- spent wednesday -Thursday with Sportsdawg and and grandson who loves Tech at bowl. then shut office down at noon yesterday and hung with one of other grandson, granddaughter and granddaughter home from Tech ( 4 months at Tech and now a sophomore and Deans list). Headed over to Sportsdawg to hang with grandsons , letting them open some stuff . Just feeling great about the bowl win == getting that win makes the next 4-6 month more upbeat.
Gullat has an offer from Tech and Army, and that is about it. I would take him in a heartbeat. 4 year starter at LB and over 500 tackles! I have heard he is going to Army. I believe he has what you call football speed-fast enough to make the play and that is all that matters. Johnny Manziel ran a 4.6 but he was the fastest man on the field every week in college football.
If he can learn to secure the ball, Holtz hates turnovers as we all do. Tiki Barber cured his problem by holding the ball high, so it can be done. I would love to see him on the field and see what he can do. https://www.newsday.com/sports/colum...mble-problems-
Slow???...Maybe half to a full step slower in the open field, but if your good enough to tackle them within the tackle box or immediate vicinity of the line, what does it matter? The guy looked tenacious, he wanted to make the tackle and inflict some pain it seemed, maybe just a little bit of a nasty streak.
That was all well edited game film, best of the best of plays, but still, he looks like he could bring something to the team that we don't have, the spirit of a warrior perhaps?
