Yes, he suffered a broken bone in his foot in the second quarter of Week 8. He was second in the state in passing going into that week. He has fully recovered and played in an all-star game in California last month. He's also preparing for a big-time senior season on the diamond. He's an all-state caliber player in that sport, but his first love is football.

Willie Allen 6-7 315 OT from Tyler JC has committed to play for LA Tech. Allen was a HS All-American and ESPN's #2 player in Louisiana his Sr year at John Curtis HS and a transfer from LSU.

Wren from Mesquite has potential to be this years Amik and gives us 4 years we hope. 3-3 star coming with him from mesquite. That said, we have a history of signing under the radar players who do great -- Hope he works out for us-- we signed a 4/5 star player from LSU few years ago and he did not make it. Looking forward to watching him play --- this post hops around but ....
