Wow it hurt when Boggs got picked off first for the 2nd out in the 7th. Jonathan Washam and Ulrich followed with singles before Boggs lined out to end the inning. Without the pickoff we might have tied the score or taken the lead that inning.

FWIW, HCLB announced on the post game that Nate Harris would be starting in one of the games next weekend.
Wow, not sure I agree with that move. I'd probably go with Hasler, Sutton and Sullivan.
Funny, I had actually thought about it during the game...
Nate is our least "hit-able" pitcher at this point.
Hasler and Sutton are our only true starters with Linck struggling. Sutton struggled against a great hitting team today.
HCLB reasoning is that he can't afford to wait for one of our "starters" to give us a lead going in the last innings. He thinks Nate has the pitches to be a starter and explained that most closers or mid relievers only have a pitch or two they command.
I definitely understand the part about us not being able to get a lead, at that point Harris is sorta wasted if he's pitching in situations like today.
Got to pitch better and quit stranding so many base runners. Simple for us to say, though.
Burroughs should have pulled Surron in the 3rd. He got absolutely CRUSHED in the 4th and 7-0 was just too much (again) to overcome. Harris is our best pitcher and letting him collect dust while we're being destroyed is just Wade Slimtoneaux logic. Truly pathetic coaching and playing this weekend.
LA Tech clearly has a "mental" block about all things USM. This is just unreal. Save for mens basketball, we're pretty much USM's whipping boy in every sport.
Definitely feels that way. Kills me.
