Kind of cool that we had some Grambling guys participate and Coach Fobbs in attendance.

Wonder what the thoughts are on that. Better to have more talent at the pro day to bring out more scouts, or is it better to keep it smaller so individual guys get more attention?

I believe the "Tech Pro Day" has for many years included Grambling and ULM players. I would assume that those schools don't have a "Pro Day".

nlulm has one. They always have at least one more pro scout at their pro day than us.

At the very least, having Grambling there will ensure that TNS at least acknowledges we had a Pro Day.

Yes, according to Mr. Tech Hater himself. This is the fake news we have to deal with in the local media: http://www.myarklamiss.com/sports/lo...-day/677490291

So, since we had a scout from all 32 teams in Ruston...that means to TNS, 32 = "well over 20"...maybe they can't count to 32? Perhaps they never had the word "all" on a vocabulary test in grade school? And NLULM must have had 33 teams at their's, yes?

Canadian football league scouts? In all seriousness, Tech probably had some Canadian football league scouts, in addition to all 32 NFL team scouts

Never miss an opportunity to push the boundaries by using your wit to its fullest effect through adding a pic, meme, or gif. If a picture is worth a thousand words...imagine the equity in a meme or gif!

    Re: Pro Day

I finally found a 40 time for Higgins. Athough not burner speed, 4.7 would have been middle of the road at the Combine based on the QB times at the recent Combine. https://sportsnola.com/prospects-shi...tball-pro-day/

LA Tech Pro Day – Top Results
    40-Yard Dash
    Xavier Woods – 4.46
    Cyril Noland-Lewis – 4.52
    Dalton Santos – 4.60
    Ryan Higgins – 4.70

    Vertical Jump
    Cyril Noland-Lewis – 38 inch
    Lloyd Grogan – 33 inch
    Dalton Santos – 33 inch
    Conner Smith – 33 inch

    Bench Press
    Darrell Travis – 26 reps
    Joseph Brunson – 25 reps
    Kirby Wixson – 24 reps
    Jordan Harris – 22 reps

    Broad Jump
    Cyril Noland-Lewis – 10-11
    Conner Smith – 10-3
    Lloyd Grogan – 10
    Jordan Harris – 9-7

    Shuttle
    Cyril Noland-Lewis – 4.20
    Dalton Santos – 4.47
    Ryan Higgins – 4.54
    Joseph Brunson – 4.54

Am I the only one not convinced that Santos is faster than T.Taylor?

Questionable for sure. I think I'd bet on Higgins over Santos too.

I noticed these guys who couldn't finish out the season for us are there being "ever loyal".

At the combine I believe Taylor's time was 4.54, it was definitely below 4.6

Taylor's official time 40 time at the Combine was 4.63 seconds. He did have top performer times in the 20 yard (4.01) and 60 yard (11.14) shuffles http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/...lor?id=2558202

Xavier Woods had a 40 time of 4.54 at the Combine. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/...ods?id=2558159
