Sounds like that Egor guy was considering leaving anyway.
Koulechov to FL

hmmmm ................
Chad Lott announced he is transferring to Howard. lol
Howard?
Howard?
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Ouch. This type of transferring is holding the sport back at the grassroots level. Sure, probably does not affect TV ratings, but makes it tough on the fans of any non-elite school.
To recap: Rhoades leaves for VCU, and Rice hires their "Dusty May" for continuity reasons. Then...
Marcus Evans --> VCU
Egor Koulechov --> Florida
Marquez Letcher-Ellis --> Nevada
Marcus Jackson --> UC Santa Barbara
Chad Lott --> Howard
Andrew Drone --> Graduated
Corey Douglas --> Transferring
Rice's top 6 contributors are leaving plus Douglas.
I'm starting to wonder if Rice will have enough players to field a team next season.
I found a picture of Rice's roster for next year
I saw something on twitter about Tony Skinn interviewing with Georgetown. Hopefully, if he gets that job he will not take Bracey with him.
Chad Lott must be struggling academically. You just don't walk away from a 53K per year athletic scholarship to one of the country's top 15 academic schools. Forget basketball for a minute. From a business perspective, a minority like Lott --with a degree from Rice-- would be highly sought after by employers in the job market after he graduates from Rice. He can pretty much write his own ticket in corporate America after he graduates from Rice. I sure hope someone counsel's before doing this.
