We have left (51) more runners on base than our opponents.
We have struck out (195) times compared to (84) walks.
While our pitching has declined our real problem is at the plate. Too many Ks & too many runners LOB. It seems Goffs approach to offense was more disciplined thus better execution of situational baseball. if we don't get back in this conference race & win the next 2 series it's gonna be tough just to make conference tourney. Two weeks ago we where discussing the possibility of hosting a regional. What a "swing" of events.

You are correct. We are striking out WAY to much. One of our biggest producers last year can't stay in the lineup because he can't make contact. You've got to find a way to put the ball in play with men in scoring position. You can't really hit and run because we can't make contact. Our whole offense is badly out of sync and it seems that nothing is working. I don't know what it's going to take to right the ship, but I hope someone figures it out quickly or I fear we might dig a hole that's to deep to escape from.

HBTD! no errors, only stranded a few runners tonite, not to mention HR derby. No fallout in attendance tonite. UTSA beat Baylor tonite. Do not know if Baylor any good. Weather coming this weekend may cause a DH Saturday.
