If the NCAA Tournament selection happened today, your Leopards would have 0% chance at an at-large bid no matter how far some of these Top 25 voters are up the Leopards' butts, and you are talking about hosting? Your RPI is 82 with an expected RPI of 88 with expected SOS of 113.

Tech is still sitting much prettier than the Leopards when it comes to NCAAT selection right now, and Tech has won 3 straight against your Leopards.

Every year there are teams very deserving of hosting a regional, but in the end they don't host. Often it's because they're either new to the Top 20 or they finished the year very strongly, unexpectedly, and perhaps never having hosted, their athletic departments weren't ready to submit a bid. Unless the Cajuns do a train wreck the rest of the way, you can bet the athletic department will be bidding on a regional and because of past success with the event, if it's even close, we'll get strong consideration. How many times Tech beat the Cajuns won't even be discussed when the final decision is made unless they're trying to decide between the two of us.

And FWIW I personally have never posed as someone else on another board. Went to see the Cajun board after our game but had to leave due to the immense stupidity of the comments I read. I actually saw a Cajun call ULL the "flagship" even though the UL System, by law, does not have a flagship. And it sure as hell wouldn't be ULL if there was one.
