A series win on the road would be HUGE for us today. I feel confident the coaches are figuring the pitching out. I didn't realize we would be struggling with pitching. I should have realized it losing 3 pitchers in the draft. That's not an excuse, I just thought the guys coming in would be ready. I am hoping for a win today and then hoping to go 3-1 over the next 4 road games. If we can do that, we are back in the saddle.

The injury to Vermillion really hurt us. I believe that he was going to be a starter. All teams have to overcome unexpected injuries. Maybe we don't have the depth to do that. It's not an excuse, just a fact. Teams that are great usually don't have many injuries. Bottom line - we have to win!
