Should we allow one of our sponsors to mention other local universities in their ads? Example: "No matter which school you follow, Tech, ulm, or Grambling..."

hahahahahaha
guidelines? for our sponsors? you realize April Fools is over?
You would not have this stuff happening at almost any other FBS school.
BTW, this is an "in kind" ad for TNS.
Our most listened to radio sports product and we allow TNS, who has done a horrible job at what the do, to be our major sponsor for the weekend and advertise for other schools while doing it.
Our people are really on top of things.
Wouldn't surprise me if TNS has only one sports commercial. If we wanted one exclusively for Tech, we would probably have to pay to have it produced.
During the Rice series they (a new app from TNS) had the most run commercial of any sponsors. If they were paying like other sponsors are made to do it would be a HUGE price.
We accept some trade out deal with them that is old as dirt and probably has not been renegotiated in the past 10 years. TNS is one of our main sponsors. In return we get ads in the print edition and some in the online edition. Our peeps choose to use that "free" advertising for our non-revenue sports as well as sports we might actually make money on.
It's a great deal for TNS and a HORRIBLE deal for Tech. Then TNS chooses to lump in lsu, ulm, and Grambling.
Remember, under new Gannett rules there probably won't be game stories or scores in their papers. Yesterday's afternoon baseball scores weren't in this morning's paper.
