Ok, hope you're right. If Tech has "good enough" RPI and finishes 7th or 8th in conference, you still think they'll win a fourth bid for CUSA? Just don't see that happening.
It is based on the committee having to compare Tech to P5 teams that finish with the same "area code" RPI but also finish lower in their conference. There are many of these teams.
Last year the regular season runner-up was left out due to RPI (50s?) in favor of us....

Marshall went 21-9 in conference, 34-21 overall with a 59 rpi and sat at home...
If our RPI can hover where its at and we finish strong (two wins in the tourney), I think we are ok
