I spent all day today in Lafayette. The ULL fans that I work with there are completely disgusted about what happened and they all want Hudspeth fired NOW. And for what it's worth, these same Cajun fans are telling me that unless the ongoing coverup efforts are successful, there will be more arrests of ULL football players that stem from a recent home invasion. These ULL fans are very involved with ULL sports and are usually in the know about the goings on over there. If they're right about this home invasion business, there are some very, very dark days ahead for ULL football.

If there is one thing I know for sure with 100% certainty, you know no ULL fans in Lafayette. I have never seen anything ULL in Lafayette.

I find it funny that none of you are talking about the Cajun players currently on a mission trip to Africa. Or the team that helped many families after the flood last fall. Y'all should name this forum bulldogs barks & CNN with all this one sided news you got going here.

I don't know what you're talking about, but the incident I'm referring to happened 12 years ago. It was after I graduated. I was wrong, though. It wasn't attempted murder. It was murder.

As for the LSU stuff, I've read countless stories about LSU crime (see this from earlier today or this or this or this). It's not ignored.

LSU may not be ignored but is often "fixed". I seem to remember in 2011 an LSU quarterback donkey stomping someone to within an inch of their life in a nightclub. A BATON ROUGE grand jury "reduced" the felony assault charges to a misdemeanor and the player was back on the field just about the time the conference schedule kicked into full swing.

We all know about that instance. We don't know about how many times that happens to the general public. I'm sure some of our attorneys could attest to that better than I can, but I've always been shocked at how many crimes get reduced when it's a first offense.

You may be right about me not knowing any ULL fans in Lafayette. I work with several ULL graduates there, but all of them are LSU fans.
