They show 15% chance of rain from 4pm-9pm.
I guess we will see. Check out this release...
RUSTON, La. - Due to impending weather arriving in the Ruston area, officials have made the decision to play the second game of the series between LA Tech and WKU today at 5 p.m.
The series finale, which was originally scheduled for today as part of a double header, will now be played on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
No, not "originally".
I guess they are tying to dodge the cell that is currently around Toledo Bend and moving N-NE. It has been brewing since early this morning when it popped up east of Houston. It is now much bigger, but it is moving rather fast. My concern is the next cell that builds up behind it at some point. The closer we get to gametime the more chance we have of cells building from the south.
Natchitoches being clobbered right now. System moving SW to NE came from Houston area.
Wish they'd called a 10 or 11 a.m. first game today with second game following. We re-did our plans for a double header today so we can't make tomorrow's game. Oh well.
‼️ SCHEDULE UPDATE ‼️
Today's game has been pushed back until 6 p.m. at the earliest. We will keep you updated!
The NWS has also issued a TORNADO WARNING for the @LATech campus until 4pm. Take cover immediately and stay tuned for wx updates.
The tornado warning expired at 4:00 PM and was not reissued. The NWS warning polygon did not cover any part of Lincoln Parish north of US 80.
‼️ SCHEDULE UPDATE ‼️
We are officially pushed back until at least 7 p.m.
Hoping for a first pitch then! Stay tuned for more updates.
Got as far as Arcadia when the tornado warning was issued. Decided we'd watch tonight's game on the radio. No telling when we'll get the first pitch. Could make for a late night.
Anybody know how good the drainage is on this new turf? I'm suspecting very good.
We have a start time of 7 PM at the Love Shack per Diamond Dawg twitter account.
Dawgs up 4-0 after one.
