Have you considered those Dogs?
I hope Ferguson sticks around, but I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves early, especially after seeing Henderson do it.
Ferguson would be crazy to stay unless the NFL told him to stay for some reason. He should go by the end of the second round - worst case he falls to early 3rd. Any football layman can see he is NFL ready. Go sign that NFL contract and get paid young man.
All that said he may love the college experience and want that senior year - it is something you can't get back and could create a great deal of memories - but 2nd round NFL draft = money for a young man.
I wish all this talent would have translated to a conference champiosnhip at some point.
Jaylon has 29 TFL and 20.5 sacks in 26 career games. He's 6'5 260. He's a junior. He's got first round written all over him.
I believe it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Holtz and WKU's Brohm were the finalists for the Purdue job. Had we beaten USM, then hosted and beaten WKU, then Holtz would likely be the Purdue HC today instead of Brohm. Instead we've now got Holtz a new contract and with a record 7 home games 2017 could be the breakthrough season we've been trying to build for decades.
Several of the stories have been taken down and as you know Skip Holtz is his own agent and is very hush-hush about his dealings. Nobody can produce an article quoting Skip as saying he would or wouldn't accept the job if offered, but he clearly interviewed and made the short list at the end. I can certainly produce some articles quoting Jeff Brohm denying that he accepted the job, when he obviously accepted it.

Purdue is definately a destination job if a guy is looking for a graveyard.
