Comey's a lying POS that should be hung for treason, period. AG Barr will prove to be a man of integrity and prosecute the scumbags that tried to pull off a silent coup, or he'll prove to be just another deep state plant that was put in place to protect the corrupt establishment. Barr is seeking to land the biggest fish and deliver the hardest blow to the scumbag coconspirators. At least that's the hope of real patriots. But this is the second time Barr has passed on prosecuting a criminal...Comey. Some are saying the fake FISA warrant brings harsher penalties and it's on that Barr will seek indictments. Guess we'll see.

I do think that there is a very real "Swamp" mentality designed to protect "our own" as the Swampers see it. In part because the letter of the law is nearly impossible not to violate. Kind of like posted speed limits. We all exceed such at times, even if it's just driving 37 in a 35mph zone. Technically, that's speeding but law enforcement looks the other way because they know they also are guilty of doing the same. Don't open that can of worms. Well, in DC, saying something in a casual conversation, totally innocently, can be a technical violation of some law protecting classified information, even if said information doesn't rise to the level of needing protection. Thus, to avoid being prosecuted yourself, well, let's all, we Swampers, adhere to the unwritten law and not chase after each other over "trivial" matters.
