Once again, he did not start his ace in game one. Maybe we would've swept more than 2 series had he gone with what seems to be fairly conventional wisdom among college coaches.

Not to mention, some other critical games where a different strategy might have been better. For example, the 2nd Arkansas game. Coach says publicly before the game that 2 weekend starters are available for short stints, then he waits until we get behind to bring them in the game.

There are other games where he stayed with starters too long and it may have cost us.

In his defense, this pitching staff has been very inconsistent except for one guy.

Glen anyone who blames the Ark loss on Burroughs has never been in that ballpark with the wind like it was - if the wind was the same as it was the prior night I would agree but it was howling out of the north like you were at Wrigley...

They made two FABULOUS robs against the fence in late innings to escape out of there with the win -

Maybe the Southern Miss game one and maybe the UTSA game you can argue the fact -

But the 2nd Ark game - nope - knew it was going to be am offensive show the moment I got out of the truck

Seems like one of the ODU, or Charlotte games, can't remember, could also have been salvaged but maybe not.

We'll just have to disagree on U of A game 2. If Sutton and Linck pitch the 5th and 6th with their same results, its 10-4 Tech going into the seventh instead of 10-8. Then if they start a rally, you bring in Harris, who only pitched an inning the night before and let the chips fall where they may.
