Facing Charter Shortage, College Football Reconsiders the Bus

Facing high travel demand, airlines are cutting back on the number of planes and crews available to charter, leaving colleges and some pro sports leagues scrambling.

Does anybody know how this is effecting the Dawgs? Is there a magic number where we bus vs. fly?
I know Dawgpix has some incite on Tech's travel.

Our Louisiana state contract has been with Sun Country out of Minnesota. i didn't see their name as I skimming the article.

What will Hawaii do? I'm sure they expect planes to be idle until their return trip home! All away games require planes unless they go by boat?! Lol

Somewhat off topic, that's how Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico receive their goods, through the US merchant marine fleet, which heavily increases prices for them...

No different when we were in the WAC. Half our conference games were an airplane away. I doubt if Hawaii has to play away OOC games. Doesn't their convention bureau, Marriott and others help bring other team$ in?
