Just going to point out that the Poltifact article came out a year before the Washington Times article.
I think you should read the report. Basically, State Department screwed up the terms and OneVoice manipulated the situation to use the funds with a purpose other than what was intended.

Well, there's not an election to rig right now, so of course Obama isn't trying.
As far as tried, no. I think he took some small steps to get a "grassroots" program going that may or may not cause the election results to be what he favored. I have zero doubts Obama didn't want Netanyahu to win; but, he also didn't want to risk the wrath of Republicans and certain members of his party by overtly or directly supporting the opposition
Right. Given the fact that an election hadn't even been called when the money was given (let alone the lack of evidence that Obama directed this grant or was even aware of it), the facts of that article do no remotely prove the statement.
I don't like Obama, but we don't have to go out into looney toon land to manufacture criticism of his presidency - there is plenty of real criticism that can be brought.
There was an election (which Bibi won) and Obama spent our money trying to rig it against him. Money poorly spent due to Obama's personnel issues and hatred of Bibi much like Putin's personnel issues and hatred of Hillary.
What were they(Russians) trying to hack? I've heard voter rolls and I've heard voting machines. All with phishing attempts. Now, I am only familiar with Louisiana, but the voting machines aren't connected to the internet. The machines are used for voting, the votes tabulated and then the counts certified and communicated to the state office.
If it was the voter rolls that was the target, that highlights the need for better security/updates to the voter rolls.
