Stadium will not syndicate games on local networks like ASN did. Stadium will be available on Twitter for free, Sling TV & other platforms.
I understand Stadium content will still be available on Sinclair-owned stations. There are none in Mississippi.

Very bad news for Bulldog fans... No more Tech games on Cox Sports TV, KPXJ-CW, KNOE-CW, or any other former ASN affiliate in Louisiana. According to Sinclair's website, there are no Sinclair-owned stations in Louisiana, which means Tech's games on Stadium will not be on real TV anywhere in Louisiana unless they buy stations soon. By not syndicating on non-Sinclair stations, Stadium is taking a big step backward from ASN. There's only a handful of Tech fans who will stream Stadium games on twitter compared to those who watched on CST, KPXJ, KNOE-CW, and other non-Sinclair affiliates.

It is very bad news. I suspect the problem isn't that Stadium doesn't want to syndicate this season it's that Sinclair let the personnel responsible for those syndication deals go when it disbanded ASN. There might not be anyone with any experience in place in what has to be done over the next few months to put together a network of non-Sinclair stations.

Since CUSA is the only conference with a contract in place with Stadium it would be up to its league office to do some legwork. In additions to the stations you mentioned there are several Tribune owned stations in Louisiana. The CW affiliate in New Orleans was an ASN station and Tribune owned. I believe it's on Cox Cable on the Mississippi gulf coast, as well as Hattiesburg. If offered I am sure they would take the programming. I am sure that's the case for every other outlet you mentioned.

Also - when it comes to Sinclair and the other owners of Stadium. If they can't offer at least the same level of coverage that ASN provided in the past the corresponding bad press and social media pounding is not what they want as to try to launch something they describe as new and vastly improved.

The first time that a station manager of a non-Sinclair station comes out and says his station would love to carry a game but that Stadium doesn't have the people or infrastructure in place to make it happen it's going to make all involved look like amateurs.

I have been able to see every Tech game available on ASN through DISH (MASN, etc.) Will this be true for Stadium?

here is a Twitter discussion I had a month ago. RSNs = Regional Sports Networks - Comcast SportsNet Chicago & NBC Sports Bay Area/California, Altitude, Cox Sports, NESN etc

    Replying to @mattsarz
Was there any discussion about distribution to the RSNs?

    Matt Sarzyniak‏ @mattsarz May 25

Wasn't specific, but put under following contractual obligations with respect to non-Sinclair stations receiving STADIUM in our discussion.

    Matt Sarzyniak‏ @mattsarz May 25

Also want to set expectations: tit wasn't explicitly said RSNs will have access to STADIUM content. Will likely learn more in next few weeks
