This is improvement. Hope Tech keeps expanding this community outreach throughout North Louisiana.
Now if they'll ever figure out that Freedom Fields is in Bossier...

Truly enjoyed the Fanfest at Freedom Field in Bossier last August. People at First Baptist handling the event were super. Hope it gets bigger each year. Great chance to get up close with players and staff as they go thru light workout.
I went with son and 3 grandsons -- we had a great time and left before it was over-- it was first time we did something like this in a long time-- we had a practice at Independence stadium a few yes ago and attendance was light. personally thought it was well done for first time event-- pleasantly surprised
Tech does many things right - hopefully they can continue the positive momentum.
Several changes were quietly made to this initial announcement:
- Shreveport Fan Day at Cane's moved to Bossier.
- Has Dawg House Fan Day been canceled?
- Freedom Fields Fan Fest was moved up one day from Saturday to Friday afternoon.
- Ruston Fan Day was moved up one week.
Be sure to make any changes on your calendar if necessary.

Did anybody go to the Rangers game Tuesday night or the Dawg House for lunch yesterday? I haven't seen a thing about either event. Or did the Dawg House event get canceled? It wasn't promoted after the original announcement. Astros Day is Sunday.
Hidden at the bottom of the radio network press release:
Tech fans are invited to attend a preseason Dawghouse Meet-N-Greet on Monday, Aug. 14 at 11 a.m. as the restaurant will have lunch specials while members of the Tech Athletics Department and LA Tech Sports Network will be in attendance.
