HR-1 - End of US as we know it

HR-1 will be the end of the US in terms of elections and eliminate states rights to set their own election laws.

So no one will ever have to produce an ID to vote in any state, and there can never be any validation of signatures of any mail in ballot submitted.
    What could go wrong?

Mandatory online, same day registration in all states. Registered when you get a driver's license. Minors allowed to register (though they can't vote until 18)

Also neuters most states ability to purge voter rolls of dead people

Granted there are problems that need fixing, like campaign financing and gerrymandering and some others, but rest assured Pelosi and her evil ilk wouldn't be pushing this if they didn't see a huge advantage for the Dems and the commie bastards.

Totally agree with what you posted. It would be interesting to see how much of the unaccounted for "dark money" that hit the democrat coffers this past election cycle would be impacted by campaign finance reform. I'm sure since it was written by K street lobbyists for Pelosi and Biden that there are hidden loopholes in the thousands of pages somewhere.

Unconstitutional in every way. This will be a vehicle that can be used to help restore the rule of state election law that wasn't followed or enforced in the 2020 election.

If the no-ID provision is attempted to be enforced, it won't take long before challenges to any form of ID for anything are rightfully brought. It's either ID for everything or ID for nothing.

Here is a look at the problems with this bill.

More. There is so much that is blatantly unconstitutional with this proposed bill to make it laughable.

The reason your arguments come across so half-baked is because you don’t take the time to comprehend the counter view.

So let me guess.. you believe that AR-15's should be banned.. and those already out there.. mandatory buy back.. and make high capacity magazines illegal.. What else is your counter view?

What do AR-15s have to do with HR 1?

You could just read the link for the counter view.

So go on record and state what your view is on AR-15's and high capacity magazines.

I like them. The platform is a great design, and they are fun to configure. Though, anything over a 20 to 30 round magazine seems a bit silly. When I am shooting, I prefer to use 20 round magazines. I am willing to go on record and predict I have much more experience with them than you.

But from what I have witnessed over the last 4 years, I don’t think Trump supporters have enough judgment to own them. Especially anyone that would believe “Bringing the Calvary” is anything other than a typo that an iPhone autocorrected to be capitalized.
