I noticed #82 Ivan Wilson has joined the team at WR. This kid went in MLB draft out of high school. That didnt work out. He played some football at Ruston High but my guess is his best football is in front of him - 6'3" 226lb WR. He's got to be at least 20-21 yrs old - so a very physically mature freshman. I'm intrigued by this pick up and how he develops. His dad was great high school tight end back in the day when RHS threw the ball maybe 10 time per game.
Always interested in a 6'3" WR, as they say, a tall WR is still tall in the fourth quarter. Apparently he is a pretty good athlete, how are his catching skills, does he have any vertical leap, I hope there are positive answers to those questions. Someone with those skills and maturity could be a definite asset.
I ask about his vertical leap because there are some shorter guys out there who have some crazy high verticals that could still probably get higher than Wilson if he does not have at least a better than average leap.
