That roster is dated 3/24/17, two weeks before spring practice.

Correction, all of the player's weights are the same as last year. All we're getting is the freshmen's numbers. We have the most incompetent and lazy SID in the country.

Since they haven't arrived yet the 2017 list also doesn't include freshmen walkons such as:

Jerious Bittle RB 5-11 205,
Tony Huey RB 5-10 200,
Joshua Matthews WR/DB 6-1 175,
Christian Gulledge 6-4 250 TE

Don did you ever think about finding out who is actually responsible for releasing the official roster? He just got a brand new contract.

There is a "2017 Roster" posted on the Athletic Web page. Is is accurate. First glance says it is, but I am not as familiar with everyone like some of your are. At least it didn't have Price Wilson or Jack Abraham on it.

I guess it's right as far as the numbers matching the player, but, the weights are the same as last year and the freshmen weights are the same as when we started recruiting them. Some walkons are not on there either. The worst thing about it is it's an alphabetical roster. In other words , you can't look at all those pics that dawgpix just took and match the number to the player. Our SID is pitiful. There's no excuse for this kind of crap, but, it's the SOS every year.

Lucky for you, the "worst thing" isn't at all what you assume. It is only an alphabetical roster for one who doesn't realize he can click on the # column to make it numerical, ascending or descending, depending on one's preference. Additionally, one can click on each column to sort the roster by any of 6 columns.

I have an assumption of my own--that the SID doesn't weigh the players. They can only post information if they have it.
