No, there isn't an actual difference. They are all in the same city and the same stadium. Either they are all neutral site games, like I believe, or they are all 'home' games, like some others believe. Attendance does not depend on who is labelled the "home" team. Neither of those teams are from Shreveport. It's no different from any of the other schools coming to play there against us.
This is especially true now that Shreveport (at least the Times) has disowned us. We should never play another game in Shreveport, including the Independence Bowl. We do have lots of alumni there but how many actually cheer for Tech and go to Tech games? Not a great percentage I would bet.
How long's it been since you've been to Shreveport? More and more Shreveporters are proudly displaying their Tech fandom everywhere. You should've seen the Red River Balloon Rally on LSUS's campus a couple Fridays ago. Tech fans took over with little trace of any other school to be found. The Times and Indy Bowl are not representative of the community.
The question becomes - if we play a game in Shreveport would the Times even mention it?
So why did you post these games at all? We all agree that they were played in Shreveport. But we also all agree that the last two (OSU & Baylor) are not the 4th and 5th best attended LA Tech games in Shreveport. Those honors below to NSU.
Miami '03 - 43279
TAMU '12 - 40453
TAMU '99 - 40328
OSU '02 - 31391
Baylor '96 - 29469
