Both amazing runners. Edwin Moses never lost a race in 10 years! The guy was unbeatable and unbelievable. Johnson is the only person to pull off the 400-200 double in World T&F Championship history. That dude from the RSA Van Wierke (sp?) is trying to duplicate that feat. He looked very tired in his 200 semi today.
BTW, the US did have a male in he 400 final, Kerley, but he barely qualified and finished 7th in the final.
US women won gold and bronze in the 400 final. But the gold was not won by Alyson Felix....she settled for bronze. It was her 14th career medal in WTF tying her for the all-time lead. She should become the all-time winningest athlete, male or female, in history when the American women win a medal in the 4 X 400.
