Well, here's a reason this game shouldn't be close...
NSU's Foundation is auctioning off a helmet, painted half NSU and half LSU. Obviously, in honor of former Demon player, now LSU coach, Ed O. Really, that says all that needs to be said. But, just in case you don't get it...
How can any school, not named LSU, give a rat's azz about LSU? I would be insulted if I were a Demon player/coach, and if I gave a rat's azz about NSU football. F_ _ K LSU, Ed O. and the horse they rode in on. There were some so-called NSU football fans that actually hoped NSU would NOT beat LSU when they played some years back. There rationale was an LSU loss would kill any NC hopes, and a loss by NSU to LSU would not damage NSU at all. That is probably true...but how can you call yourself an NSU fan and not root for your team vs. anybody!
On the flip side, NSU hates Tech and lives to beat us at anything. It makes their whole existence worthwhile by beating Tech.
This at minimum!
We will crush them.
I wonder will Skip go conservative with NSU and not open up the playbook.
He can do whatever he wants as long as he doesn't close the playbook halfway through the game.
COYHCSH likes to focus on some of the conference games. OOC games don't really matter.

The only thing that scares me about any team on our schedule is our own coach.
Which is commonly known and is contributing to the hopeful rhetoric of NSU fans. It is also known that Skip will have at least one WTF game every year...so why not the very first one.
