That's funny. That was EXACTLY my first reaction too. Georgia's Lindsay Scott was the real hero that saved the University of Georgia's --and Herschel Walker's-- national championship in 1980.
According to Coach "Oregano" he was "tied for second" behind Edlman(Sp or whatever) on the depth chart.
Hm. Odd timing, but there it is. If he thinks he can outplay JMar, I say bring him on. Assuming he's interested, of course.
Maryland wanted him too, and if you are a QB, that is a great place to go. They haven't had a good one for a while.
