Yeah why would they put them there? Put them in the corner like we did last time.
The only thing I can think about is them trying to avoid problems with students or some situation with any general admission ticket buyers but I really can't figure out any logical answer.
Those are unsold seats. They want it to look good on TV and price gouge along the way. Offering special deals to Tech fans is not an option.
Section B is pretty much in the corner. It seems like they used to put the visitors in Section R or S - the lower southeast corner. So B is just across the field on the west side. I wouldn't personally want to sit there. KK would probably give them a better view of the field because it is up higher. Also, as noted, it would be closer to our rowdy student section and russdog and all our other OO fans.
What are you basing MS State given Section B on? Section B is Westside and is reserved family pack section.
If you are looking at Stubhub you would be looking at resale options from current ticket or broker holders.
Direct ticket sales thru Tech are via Ticketmaster.

OK, since I helped make a muddy mess of this I called the ticket office. They said Mississippi State fans are primarily in K and L.

OK, so you are talking about now, after the initial block was bought up? Is our school putting tickets on stubhub, or is it just fans who own the tickets?
IDK. What is obvious is that our own ticket peeps chose not to block the prime seating off for LaTech fans. When I read the original post on this thread it sounded like he had been given the same old "better hurry and buy or else..." spill that seems to be our only sales pitch. His post said, ". I am looking for 6 tickets together on the Westside. This has seemed to be a issue. Do any of y'all have or know of anyone that has tickets for sale? The ticket office said tickets are going fast and they had general admission tickets left and a few sparingly on the westside.
We treat our own fans like crap. He can get better service from the visiting team's site that what he described above.
