If it backs off after hitting and then goes north? They are saying it will be back in the water on Monday. Scary!
Hope all our Houston, SE Texas, and SW La peeps are safe and ready.

This is a VERY spooky storm -
Now we are seeing estimates of 35 inches of rain for a huge areas in TX out noaa - slow moving storms are killers...
If this thing shifts more to the east -
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
With the routes being predicted for next week, everybody better bring their rain gear for the NSU game.
Hopefully if it gets to NLA we're done with it by next Thursday. No way to know at this point, but I'm seeing that predicted.
Sure don't need that thing hanging around next Saturday. I've got fish to fry! Literally!
I'm going to upgrade my rain gear this season to rain suits. Currently, we are rocking the Frogg Togg ponchos.
The Weather Channel shows it's gonna rain in Ruston Tues-Thurs, but only 20% chance Friday/Saturday. Hopefully the weather will be gone by game day.
Praying for everyone in the path, though.
I was told today by customers in Kinder, LA that their prediction is 31 inches of rain.
Stay safe, TX and SW LA Dawgs. I have a spare bedroom in Little Rock if it unfortunately comes to that.
Latest NOAA model shows it still as a tropical depression and beinghly over Jacksonville TAX, between Nacogdoches and Tyler at 1 a.m. Friday. I must say I don't like that track and what it might mean for Saturday at all.
Gonna be a rain game on Saturday. Natchitoches will also be getting hammered, so I imagine many won't make the trip to Ruston. We'll have around 7K in attendance (with an announced crowd of 22K), if our last home game against USM is any indication of how Tech fans feel about showing up in the rain.
Well, unless the roads are downright dangerous I will be there. Can't imagine the weather will be worse than it was for the infamous "Rain Bowl" vs. Brett Favre and USM in the late '80's. Cannot rain harder than it did that day. No way.
