Since we don't wear the red hats that much anymore, why can't we just have the white T on it? Much better than the bulldog we throw on for the red out games. BTW, why does the bulldog stand out on the red hat? Because it's white!

Yes hambone, just as you correctly stated, "Almost all within the university prefer the white T" when red helmets are worn, except possibly you - I even read somewhere that the red T doesn't even feel good in braille - so you're all alone hambone (the rhyme is a bonus) with your red T on the red helmet.
Contrast... it's a neat concept
I don't like how we got the rid of our alternate State T color scheme.
Outdated? Old? What a quaint thought. The red T is the result of a couple of over-achievers/underlings trying to present something to pad their resumes. . . but they're too embarrassed to admit they're the culprits . . . .

Thanks for this post HD. To all TECH fans. Notice the STRIPES!!! Every color combination works and looks better if/when the "5 stripes (three- white-red-white on blue)" are applied. (Even on the helmet - see original white). It is much "smarter" than the Buffalo Bills looking 3 stripe.The best look EVER, including the "white T":
Hey, I resemble that remark!... but, I remember the White T over the blue state on a red helmet.. in fact have a poster of it and one of our Bulldog mascots here in my condo! It's priceless!
Even BlindDog knows the white T looks best on the red helmets! Ya gotta love it!
A little off subject but I see they're allowing Boise to wear all blue on their blue turf.
Nobody can make out helmet logos from the stands regardless of color.
Just bc the background is red doesn't mean you have to change the logo. Texans helmet is an example. Falcons too.
I guess the baseball team should have a white state on the blue caps
IMO, our unis are better than ever. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the patriotic designed helmet. I love the unis we have on tonight: white pants, blue shirt and white helmet.
