How many you want? Here's one that's $31,977.

Because you won't talk about horns. You want to talk about some $20k plus instruments. And you want to bring in the price of a car when we are talking horns. So when we talk horns you say we are confused. Nah dude. Enough with the wordplay we got it--you are a smart fella. But how would a tuba or trumpet cost that of a car?
I posted one. Post 122. There are plenty more. But 2 things...this is a marching band discussion and the topic has included more than just horns, and I just made a simple, true statement to point out that some of you are talking about things you don't know much about. For example, you had no idea musical instruments, including brass instruments, could cost more than a car. But really, it's ok. HogDawg doesn't need your help.
If you want something besides a tuba, here's a French horn.

Here is a Sousaphone.

And in my original post that sparked all this, I was referring to percussion instruments, but the point still stands.

That's like saying whiskey is too expensive to serve in the DAC bc there was a Forbes article about a 10k bottle.
By the way, without giving by one very generous donor, several school owned instruments in need of repair would not have seen the field this year nor last. And the drumline would not have new drums. If anyone ever wants to donate to instrument repair or the purchase of new ones, it will always be appreciated.
Are we all in agreement that we will play Monroe in a 2 for 1 or FCS type home game deal - a little above the FCS average????
I'd give them a home-home if they bought the BoP 10 trumpets, 5 mellophones, 15 trombones (with F attachment), 10 baritones, and 14 sousaphones, all in makes of our choosing and on top of the standard payouts and such.
Sounds like a nice rider for all our games against Power 5, actually.
