We can have the opinion that rejoining Iran is a bad idea, rejoining the climate accord is a bad idea, restricting ammo and gun purchases even more for law abiding citizens is a bad idea, allowing more people across our border is a bad idea, lessening voting requirements is a bad idea, and canceling everything because someone gets offended is a bad idea. And I didn’t even have to watch Fox to believe that.

People today are "offended" by the least little thing... It's as if they believe if they claim that they are offended by something it gives them some type of special "rights".. Maybe they can claim some type of "victim" status.. Well sorry it doesn't give you anything special.. So I am not going to shed a tear or do anything different if someone is offended.

I didn’t even list the things that haven’t reach the National discussion yet. Things like, “you don’t need a 15 round magazine to defend your home”(I own several), or “math is about understanding the concept more so than getting the right answer”(I’m sorry, the bridge has to reach all the way across the ravine. Only getting halfway doesn’t help).

I know we are reaching that point with new legislation on gun issues.

I am now going to be offended if anyone ever calls me a “white guy”. From now on, I want to be referred to as a human specimen that could possibly be a male and looks like he might consider himself a male who doesn’t have as much melanin in his skin as some other people might have.

I’m confused. Does the LGBT community want to be left alone to live their lives in peace or do they want to remain in the spotlight and be tormented by allowing themselves to be the subject of conversation because of crazy laws they endorse?

Now the Woke Cancelers are even coming after "Mom" and "Dad".

    quote:

Once they took out Dumbo and Pepe Le Pew, it was only a matter of time until the language police doubled down.

An elite school in Manhattan has advised the school “community” — that means not just the staff but students and parents — to stop saying “mom” and “dad,” or even “parents,” advising them to instead say “grown-ups, folks, or family.”
    quote:

The Grace Church School, which charges $57,000 for students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade, put out a 12-page guide addressed to the school community that bans a slew of words, phrases and even ideas.

“The goal of this guide is to provide the community with more inclusive language that is aligned with the mission of Grace Church School,” reads the guide. “While we recognize hateful language that promotes racism, misogyny, homophobia, and other forms of discrimination are already addressed in our school handbooks, we also recognize that we can do more than ban hateful language; we can use language to create welcoming and inclusive spaces. This guide addresses ways we can remove harmful assumptions from the way we interact with each other.”

“Families are formed and structured in many ways. At Grace Church School, we use inclusive language that reflects this diversity,” the guide says. “It’s important to refrain from making assumptions about who kids live with, who cares for them, whether they sleep in the same place every night, whether they see their parents, etc.”

They should shut up and worry about their privilege...

    And more!

School teaches kids to stop using "mom" and "dad": Why this story matters and the rock on which we must stand.

A private school in Manhattan is encouraging its students to stop using the terms “mom,” “dad,” and “parents” because the words make “assumptions” about kids’ home lives. Instead, children are encouraged to use the terms “grown-ups,” “folks,” “family,” or “guardians” as substitutes.

In its push for gender inclusion, the school wants its students to substitute “people” for “boys and girls.” Rather than lining up as boys and girls, they are to line up alphabetically or by types of shoes. If someone says, “a boy can’t marry a boy,” they are encouraged to respond by saying, “People can love and commit to whomever they please, it’s their choice who they marry.” Instead of wishing each other “Merry Christmas!” or even “Happy Holidays!,” they are to say, “Have a great break!”

When I saw the story, I assumed it was about another highly secularized school at war with Judeo-Christian morality. Multiple examples of such conflicts are in the news these days. For instance, a curriculum being considered in California seeks to displace Christian culture and recommends that teachers instead lead students in a series of songs and chants to the Aztec gods (whom the Aztecs traditionally worshiped with cannibalism and human sacrifice, by the way).

It turns out, the school in Manhattan is Grace Church School. A school official explained their language policy: “As part of our Episcopal identity, we recognize the dignity and worth common to humanity.”

Why we must be spiritual “fruit inspectors”

There are two kinds of threats in our fallen world: those we can identify and those we cannot.

Examples of the former abound: a New York bill that could force schools to teach sex education to kindergartners and gender identity to second graders; the escalation of forced marriages and physical violence against Christian women around the world; and the Biden administration’s push for taxpayer-funded abortions, for instance. Like an Eiffel Tower-sized asteroid that missed our planet on March 5 but will return in eight years, we can see these threats coming.

Other threats are not obvious until they are dangerous, like a meteor that caused “Earth-shaking booms” over Vermont on March 7. Such threats are especially insidious because, by the time we know we are in a conflict, it can be too late to respond.

This is true medically of cancer, heart disease, and other ailments. It is true geopolitically with rising threats from China and elsewhere. And it is true spiritually as well.

In fact, I fear threats from within the body of Christ far more than those from without.

Jesus warned us to “beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves” (Matthew 7:15). How are we to identify them? He told us, “You will recognize them by their fruits” (v. 16). Ultimately, our Lord assured us, “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire” (v. 19).

    😳 now mathematics is racist.

    Brainwashing America's next generation
How millions of school children are being indoctrinated in Marxist ideology

    Published March 15, 2021 at 2:52pm

In “1984,” George Orwell’s famous novel about a nightmarish future society, the main character Winston Smith runs afoul of the ruling “Party” for insisting that “two plus two make four.” Only after being tortured by those in power does he come around to agreeing that, of course, “two plus two make five.”

America in 2021 has become Orwell’s “1984” – and nowhere more so than in the nation’s schools.

In New York City, math education Professor Laurie Rubel claims the whole notion that “2+2=4” is one that “reeks of white supremacist patriarchy.” How is that remotely possible? As the Brooklyn College prof explained in a tweet: “The idea that math (or data) is culturally neutral or in any way objective is a MYTH. … Along with the 'Of course math is neutral because 2+2=4' trope are the related (and creepy) 'Math is pure' and 'Protect math.' Reeks of white supremacist patriarchy.”

Likewise, in Oregon, the state’s education department is promoting “A Pathway to Math Equity,” intended to train public school teachers in how to “dismantle racism in mathematics instruction.”

TRENDING: Vulgar, politicized Grammys suffer serious ratings crash as Americans tune out

“We see white supremacy culture show up in the mathematics classroom even as we carry out our professional responsibilities,” declares the teachers’ guide. “The concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false. … Upholding the idea that there are always right and wrong answers perpetuate objectivity as well as fear of open conflict.”

Most Americans would describe the notion that mathematics is “racist” as completely insane.

I think this was posted a while back. My only comment was that we need signs on all bridges stating where the engineers who built it went to school. New York or Oregon, nah, we’ll take our chances driving down through the ravine.

Apparently Columbia University is bringing back segregation and having multiple graduation ceremonies this spring based upon race, or sexual orientation, etc.

Columbia University is planning to hold six additional graduation ceremonies for students according to their race and other aspects of how they identify.
The New York City school’s website details graduation ceremonies for Native, Asian, “Latinx” and Black students taking place for Columbia College, Columbia Engineering, General Studies and Barnard College at the end of April. Another dubbed “FLI Graduation” is for “first generation and/or low income community.” The school also hosts a “Lavender” graduation for the “LGBTIAQ+ community.”

Snopes classifies this as true/somewhat true.. They try their best to down play it and not call it segregated graduations, but that is exactly what it is.. I do not think a straight white male would be allowed to attend the Lavender graduation if he identified as a straight person... nor would a white guy be allowed to attend an African American graduation if he did not identify as such..

Teachers Compile List Of Parents Who Question Racial Curriculum, Plot War On Them

    quote:

"Infiltrate... shut down their websites… expose these people publicly"

    quote:

A group of current and former teachers and others in Loudoun County, Virginia, compiled a lengthy list of parents suspected of disagreeing with school system actions, including its teaching of controversial racial concepts — with a stated purpose in part to “infiltrate,” use “hackers” to silence parents’ communications, and “expose these people publicly.”

Members of a 624-member private Facebook group called “Anti-Racist Parents of Loudoun County” named parents and plotted fundraising and other offline work. Some used pseudonyms, but The Daily Wire has identified them as a who’s who of the affluent jurisdiction outside D.C., including school staff and elected officials.

"They want you dead, your kids indoctrinated.. and they think it's funny."

Yeah, its the Daily Wire, so the article goes off the rails after the first couple of paragraphs. But this is a little frightening; a group of government employees banding together to "out" parents who may disagree, or even be neutral, on the topic of critical race theory.
