    SEC Home Game Officiating

It always comes down to the same thing, the one thing you can't do a thing about, the perfect tactic for assuring an advantage... the 'no call' for offensive holding.

I really do think we should file a complaint. There was video evidence of the bad spots. Not much you can do about holding. Very reminiscient of the Arkansas game.

Two big plays went our way - butt out of bounds and the targeting that shouldn't have been called getting overturned

Only losers whine about the officiating. We beat ourselves.

It was not targeting, but I do think he was out of bounds on the other play.

The worst call of the night was the non call fumble on USC in the first half.

They also called illegal procedure on us two times. The first time did not happen. The stupid back judge called it and he is not supposed to make that call. The other time was very questionable.

The ball spot was horrible. The wildcat to Mcknight, they spotted it back 3-4 yards away from where he was down.

The mark on the USC catch on the sideline was the one that stood out to me. The side judge put his foot down where he was going to mark it and then looked up and added one more yard. That just looked SO intentional.

Agree...I thought the officiating was OK...not great but... Secondary didn't step up when they needed to!

I wish we'd asked for a review on that. Don't think it would have been overturned, but if it haf SC probably punts there

It certainly helps when one team's conference gets to pay the officials. Not having impartial game officials is one of the things that is grossly wrong with college football.

If we're thinking about the same play, I believe the ref allowed the other ref to over rule him with a more favorable spot. He was closest and should have stood his ground but I've seen refs over rule many times. Who knows if they would not have gotten the first down on the next play anyway... looks like they would have had enough... but of course they may not have gone fore it. We will never know.

My wife has a semi-famous saying around our house; when something goes bad in Washington D.C. or in our huge federal government something really stupid happens, she'll say something like..."You know, there are people in much better positions than me to be able to do something about that."

I feel the same way about that play above. It's Skip Holtz's JOB to do something about that. As my wife might say, Holtz is in a much better position to do something about that than we are as fans.

But he WONT. We've seen that again and again. Skip just Does Not Care about doing the types of things he needs to do to win these games.
