I mostly heard how pumped the LSU faithful were for hiring one of their own(Cajun), I mean the typical gung-ho corndog banter. You would have thought they hired Saban.

When I looked at this hire, I tried to stay as objective as possible and I am telling you, my head, heart, and gut tell me that this is something they will regret. He will win just enough over the next three years to keep his job and they will raise the money at that point to replace him.

I lost the thread. I don't recall LSU fans commenting on Skip. I heard a LOT of them say Orgeron was a bad hire...a few more are saying it now.

Yeah I heard a few saying it before he was hired, but then after the hire they pretty much all thought his cajun-ness was really all they needed in a HC.
