Francis Key was a slaveowner. Africa is a continent - like North America.

I find it hard to care one or another about the “African american” label, except I think the part that is most useless from an race designation part is the “American” part. After all a black Brit is also of the same race but you can’t call them African American.
So you can't read either. Otherwise, you would have seen the part the part where I said, "Why would an entire race of people choose to adopt a name that honors the continent where slave trading not only began, but is one of the few continents where it still exists today?"

“Blacks are not a monolith, and
preferences often vary on racial designations. A 1989 survey conducted by ABC and The Washington Post found 66 percent of black respondents preferred the term black, 22 percent liked African-American, 10 percent found both acceptable and 2 percent expressed no opinion. In 2003, another poll by the same organizations discovered a shift. African American was the preferred term (48 percent) while 35 percent favored black, and 17 percent liked both. In today’s society, most blacks find African American, People of Color and Black acceptable.”

The enabled thugs, elitist liberal left, illegal immigrants and even muslim migrants are trying to ruin the "institution of American sports". They will try to subvert and change our great country for the worse if allowed. I hope nobody signs this clown after his Juco time unless taught different and apologize.

Basketball fans furious after 'lone player' shoots hoops during anthem

Jim Howard, of Garden City, Kansas is a red-blooded, American patriot and a faithful supporter of the athletic program at the local community college.

For 32 years he’s volunteered with the booster club – keeping scorebooks, holding fundraisers, running the chain gang for football – and even providing a place for players to have a Thanksgiving meal.

He was in the stands on Nov. 1 for the season-opener of the Garden City Broncbusters basketball team. And when the announcer asked everyone to stand for the national anthem, he dutifully joined the crowd and stood at attention.

That’s when he noticed a lone player seated on a bench at courtside –

    Rasool Samir, a 19-year-old Muslim red-shirt.

It was unusual because there’s a team rule that the entire basketball team was supposed to stay inside the locker room until after the national anthem had concluded.
But as the crowd began singing about the bombs bursting in air and the rocket’s red glare, the Muslim basketball player grabbed a ball, walked onto the court and began shooting baskets.

    WOW!!! Are you kidding me??

NFL owners appear poised to pay nearly $100 million bribe for nothing

NFL announces no change to national anthem policy

'Truth Exchange' host Kathy Barnette weighs in on 'Fox & Friends First.'0 MILLION BRIBE

NFL owners appear poised to pay nearly $100 million bribe for nothing

NFL owners seem poised to donate nearly $100 million (including some contributionsfrom players) over seven years to support the favorite social justice causes of the players. But in a perfect show of how incompetent they are, the owners will get nothing from the players in return. No promise to stop disrespecting the national anthem or any other meaningful concessions.
Who taught these clowns to negotiate, Neville Chamberlain? Obviously, they are used to trying to buy their way out of problems. Can you even imagine the sum total spent bailing their pampered players out of legal beefs, domestic violence and sexual misconduct issues? It would likely dwarf even Congress and Hollywood. But do they really think this will solve their problem?

I heard this yesterday. This is crazy. If you want to do good for the community that is one thing, but they believe this will stop those from kneeling and that just isn't true. They will always want more or something else if they do this.
