But, beyond that I just love this. Yes, nasty ole non-Hispanic white people. But, why do Hispanics get a pass? They are nothing but descendants of Cortez's Spaniards, EUROPEANS!!! The Conquistadors who slaughtered the Aztecs, Incas, and the Mayans. Why do you think there are Spanish-speaking peoples in Mexico, Central America, parts of South America? Oh, what about Brazilians, descendants of the Portuguese, from where....? Oh! from Portugal, more EUROPEANS! And it was the Portuguese, more than any other nation, who is responsible for the slave trade to the Americas. Yes, the Dutch were also involved, but it was Portugal that dominated the industry. Oh, but now....because they are darker-skinned, why, they are suddenly helpless. Poor, poor woeful them.

So, since it is non-Hispanic Christian white people who are the cause of all those poeples' woes, they should seek to live where there aren't any. But, where? Oh! I know. Mooslim Africa. Yes, that's the ticket. Surely all those who blame non-Hispanic Christian white people for all their troubles would find paradise in the Congo! Maybe even Tanzania, Kenya, the Ivory Coast even. Perfect. They can elect Colon Kapumpernickle as their first emperor!

I haven't watched and NFL game other than the Super Bowl in some time. I guess I won't watch the Super Bowl now.
I usually only watch TECH, CUSA games, and maybe some college games of interest.

I think the football players have every right to exercise their first amendment rights. Just don't do it on their employer's time.

I agree with the others in this thread that most real world employers don't encourage employee activity that the employer's customer base could find offensive. If I started wearing political t-shirts or handing out political flyers (candidates or causes) at work, I'd be asked to stop. If I failed to stop, I'd be asked to leave. And me dancing around singing first amendment wouldn't come into play.

Let the players buy advertising, march in demonstrations, hold press conferences, promote concerts, etc. But when in uniform a football player is on the clock and an employee. Unless they are protesting against their employer, take it somewhere else.

The message that was loud and clear from the NFL and owners today is that they support their employees, particularly in the face of a president that wishes he were a dictator that is trying to interfere with their business.

The boycott is on and it will cost the NFL owners and players a bundle. This protesting problem will soon be solved as the silent majority of the players in the NFL start kicking some protestor ass in locker rooms around the league. The last thing any of them want is to have to go get a real job.
