Football - USC in 1999. Our coaches or players did not show up. We were ranked and assured a bowl game at a time bowl games were truly earned.

For sheer late-game heart breaking, the loss to OU in the Sweet 16. Yesterday was pretty darn bad.

Come on '77. You knew as well as I did that we left too much time on the clock when we made the FG.

I must have 2011 Houston scrubbed from my brain. I don't remember any of it

. I flew out to San Jose cowpaster game. Think team new Dykes was leaving and no effort there. I was sick about both games. Back to back and no bowl. Kind of forgot those games but I will never forget the Ed Jackson bowl and 6 YEARS of losing to Northeast.

I'm with those who said Utah State in 2012. That was the year I truly thought we might get off of Gilligan's Island so my hopes were up too high. The humiliation from getting drummed by Clemson (Humanitarian Bowl) and annihilated by LSU in Baton Rouge were also difficult for me to get over.
    Have you considered those Dogs?

. I flew out to LA for game. As game progressed their fans chanted "over rated" pretty brutal. Also only time I have been to game where a bunch of folks sat during Anthem. I had this at number 2 . We actually held our own after first period but too late.. I blame the start of game as monster game jitters. Our beloved QB was overthrowing receivers early ( then settled down). USC fielded team that was young but won national championship a few years later -- as a fan I was in awe just walking in to coleseum . Terry came into fan section and lasted about 12 minutes

We knew at the point we had a shot at a BCS bowl that Dykes was gone. We as fans didn't have time to enjoy what might have been, then the loss to San Jose, then the no bowl game thing. It was a horrible ending to what could have been.

Clemson and Vanderbilt game had a lot similarity. FREEZING-- our guys were bundled up and they walking around in short sleeves. We were talking about game yesterday. I was at both games and we just don't handled super cold weather well

Clemson in Boise was another game many of our key players stayed out all night with no curfew. Our coaches were resting up.

Yeah. They were still blowing those old air raid sirens when we beat them at Houston the last time we played.
