I, somewhat, agree. I just believe this team plays in streaks. We can score points, but we are going to have some quarters when our offense sputters.
It's about STARTING FIELD POSITION, not anything else. Go read my posts on other threads about it. It's real simple. We've got to quit starting drives from our own 13-yd line. It changes EVERYTHING, even the plays you call.
Just read thru SA's "game thread" on their board. One guy posted he takes a shot of whiskey every time one of their WRs drops a pass, and he'll still be drunk by Monday, LOL! Gotta have a sense of humor if you're to survive as a football fan.
If he's out long, Woodard will really have to step up. But, he was out yesterday too right? We really need a burner. Not sure Hardy is ready, but he made strides yesterday.

Next home game is Red Out vs. Southern Miss. I'm expecting (hoping for) a better atmosphere.
Agreed. Our teams poor play definitely played a role. As a die hard fan I was pretty dejected and found it hard to get excited at time (especially the third quarter). Gotta take care of UAB first, but I would love to have a decent crowd and team showing for USM.

479 yards of offense, 1 turnover, held the opponent to 16 points, we won.....Please define good play.
Agreed, our play could have been better. I asked for a definition of good play, not perfect play. As fans, we have to learn to take the game as a whole......

IMO, as a whole, it was pretty "meh". 1 1/2 good quarters that were good enough to outlast a belt team. We are young and show flashes at times at several positions. We have veterans who are underachieving as well.

I remember the conversation. It was TD's. However, we did miss a FG last night, as well as a fumble on the 11, so were not 3 for 3. The FG was not in the red zone, though, I don't believe.
I don't think the LOS was in the red zone, which I think is the qualifier.
Thanks Bill. Would've loved to be there last night, but I couldn't make it work out. Glad you got to hang with the BBB all-stars. Love those dudes!
Hope I make it to the next home game and see you then, Chuck. You are one of the BBB all stars. You and I have met, and I would like to meet Dawg80 and HD, as I am curious if their personalities match their on line personas.
