Why should any organization do anything other than what is best for them? And who are you to have an opinion on what is best for them?

The gist of the article was that race was going to become the primary litmus test for employment consideration. That is way more than just making an effort to hire more minorities.
My gripe was that you insinuated another poster was somehow racist because he pointed out that this was not the way to get qualified employees. Nobody ever said that non whites could not be in the workforce or were generally unqualified.
FoxNews is the only cable news source that uses brainwashing techniques on its viewers.
I bet every family has lost a loved one to this cult - and seen first hand the mental transformation of a balanced personality into a paranoid, misinformed extremist.
This author explores some of their techniques:

How many people do you know that have fallen into this?

Bullshit!
CNN and other libtard media are the propagandists. They lie about everything. Usually, it's lies of omission. They won't report all the dirty dealings of democraps, especially their precious obummer. And then they fixate on nothing stories like that whore Stormy Daniels, while ignoring real news....like the blooming economy.
BTW, just got the latest edition of the Booth School of Business' quarterly magazine. That's the University of Chicago, a bastion of libtardism. Sean Hannity has a faculty member, an economist, Austin somebody, can't remember his name, on as a regular guest to provide the goofy lib view of some topic. Of course, FOX always provides the opposing view to Americanism, via such guests. They are truly "fair and balanced."
Anyway, this is not about FOX News, this is about the Booth Magazine, official name is the "Chicago Booth Review." There's an article in this issue, which laments "we were wrong about Obama's economic policy." As I have said, I was pleasantly surprised by the fairness of this lib rag. Yeah, some of the editorial commentary is too far to the left for me. But, as a true media source, they separate facts from opinions.
This quarter they have another in-depth analysis of the cryptocurrency rage, more on "how pricing is really determined in economics," and "the 300 secrets to picking winning stocks." I have only skimmed that article....300??? secrets!
Anyway, the CBR offers a realistic analysis of the failed leftist policies. Must pain them to publish the truth.
If we don’t want people held back due to race, then eliminate it as a consideration or qualification. All applications for jobs will have resumes and letters of recommendation. No names, races, hobbies, or anything else that could lead one to think a person is a certain race, ethnicity, or religion can be included. We can’t know that the applicant went to BYU because that might influence our decision if we don’t like Mormons. Don’t tell us they went to an HBCU because there is a monumental percentage chance that the person is of color. Can’t have that influencing our decisions.
But what happens when we hire someone strictly off their resume and references only to find that the individual has the personality of a 2x4 and no one can stand to work with them? We set ourselves back on projects or productions by weeks or months because we have to fire that person and start over. Yep, that sure seems like the Amercian Dream for business owners.
You missed the entire point. Brainwashing is the systematic use of effective propaganda techniques. The author talks about some of the techniques that even a casual viewer/reader of FoxNews should be able to recognize.
The stats show that FoxNews viewers are the most misinformed. And this trend still holds true when they also report that they get information from other sources as well.
Have you been reading the thread. Systematic racism causes minorities to be hired less often when they are equally qualified and has made it disproportionality harder for blacks to have equal opportunities. And this trend is self perpetuating. That is why the only way to fix it is to take into account race as a criteria, but no one is arguing it is the most important criteria.
Resume studies have shown that black sounding names get less favorable treatment and consideration. People are either consciously or subconsciously influenced by such factors.
So, is everyone misinformed by every news outlet to some degree? Seems like splitting hairs at this point.
“We are 100 miles from a gas station with only 30 miles of gas left in the tank.”
“Nah, we have plenty, we’ll make it.”
Runs out of gas........”See, you were wrong, we actually made it 45 miles before running empty.”
Which one makes you feel better? Either way you are left stranded.
