I thought there was some type of ban or something going on. It is not a great inconvenience to live by the same rules as everyone else. Use your pledges to secure the spot or else stagger that half mile.

And who established this rule?
I think Sportdawg was joking. I heard it was about alcohol.
Apparently it was about underage drinking
Drinking age was 18 when I went to TECH. What would TECH be without a few drinks? Just do it safely and don't do anything stupid to ruin the rest of your life.

They were warned that the ATF was going to be on campus and there was nothing that the admin could do to discourage federal agents from making arrests for under aged drinking and that it might be in their best interest not to conduct business as usual...
So instead of putting in proper safe guards to prevent under aged drinking the individual groups decided not to participate at all....
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Too me if sounded like the admin was trying to help them and warn them....
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
True, but it's not like it's a new law or something has changed recently...
If I'm in charge, I just tell them they are going to be on campus so corundum the your business accordingly to the letter of the law to avoid issues....

Are you saying your fraternity alumni had to have everything in place and set up for your tailgate at 8 AM? I assume you had to pay a fee or whatever, so it seems you could set up anytime you want. Like you said earlier, Tech needs to make attending games "hassle free" and customer friendly. We are finally getting at least decent attendance and to put up roadblocks is poor business - not to mention senseless.
In the 21st Century, it sounds like its a bummer being young, man.
