And most Tech fans don't have the balls to demand a coach that can win 10 games in the easiest conference.

No, I'm not saying fire Holtz.

But about half the people on this board are willing to suck it up and take Holtz's half ass effort because "we should be thankful."

The last 10 win season was in 1984..... we have never played in the toughest conference, but Holtz is the problem?

Our last 10+ win season was in 2016. Oh wait, we crapped the bed against Arkansas, MTSU, and USM.

Our last 10+ win season was in 2015. Oh wait, we crapped the bed against WKU, KSU, and USM.

Our last 10+ win season was in 2014. Oh wait, we crapped the bed against NWSt, Marshall, and ODU.

Arkansas is really the only one of those close losses that wasn't squarely on coaching. In all the others, we played not to lose, and we LOST. In the case of USM, we didn't play not to lose, the team was just flat out unprepared to play at all.

There have been very few losses over the last few years were we were simply outgunned (NC St, of all places, OU, Auburn, MSU 2x). Though I do wonder what would have happened in Starkville had not we taken our foot off the gas up 14-0.

This is why when we're down or close in the 4th quarter, every Tech fan knows exactly whats going to happen.

I swear, all you had to do Saturday was watch the first two series (offense and defense) and know what the results for the day would be. Three and out on offense (netting three yards) and a 9-play drive by UAB for a touchdown. I should have turned it off right then and washed my car or something. It had the feel of that nightmare against Southern Miss two years ago. And I actually considered making the 900-mile round trip to this fiasco. I guess I'll never learn, we will never have a really great season. We should be 5 and 1 right now.

That's correct. LA Tech is 2 plays away from being 5-1 right now. TWO PLAYS!
