UNT hit a field goal in the closing seconds to beat UAB at home. We had a field goal blocked in the closing seconds to lose at UAB. Whoever hasn't recognized the obvious improvement in our defense and is calling out Baker really doesn't understand football very well. Our defense has been a bright spot this year.

Yep. The defense is playing well. We will need them to go above and beyond this week to give us a chance to beat USM. Heaven help us if our D has a bad day this Saturday....woe!

Florida is a dumpster fire and Malzan flat out threw that game away and still LSU had a hard time taking it

I agree with most on here. Our defense is not the problem. It is our offense. We are anemic and I hope I see signs of life this Saturday. If our offense finally finds a rhythm, we will win this. If they don't, I don't know if our defense can pull it off by themselves.

Just ONCE, I’d like to see Tech win a game and look good doing it. That hasn’t happened this season. Even after every game we’ve won this season, we’ve talked about how we “won ugly”. It would be nice to see Tech put it all together for just one Saturday.
