Our players are asking that as a sign of unity, all fans wear a bright yellow poncho for Saturday’s rain game. If you don’t have a yellow poncho, Coach said to stay at home and leave your seat empty so it doesn’t mess up the look.

I sat in the pouring, freezing rain last year and watched the Eagles whip up on a Bulldawg team that gave up before kickoff. Little drizzle doesn't scare us
Anyone remember the Tech - Delaware game in 1982? Now that was real (wet) football.
OK I'm driving from Abilene Texas to watch this game...the last time i came to watch a Southern Miss game it was a monsoon. WTF? There better be some good tailgating other than Argent to get me in the right mood for this or I'm gonna be pissed.

It rained for most of 6 weeks November-December that year. That was the year it flooded in areas throughout the state. It was really bad in and around Natchitoches that December. People being rescued off their rooftops by helicopters.
The week before the Michigan, er, Delaware game we played SC State, also on a wet/muddy field.
