Sure, everybody will take votes from folks they think are morally bankrupt, but the hire of Bannon was incredibly forthright.

I don't think Trump is a nativist, but I think he won't distance himself from them until after 2020 (if he's still around for that).

Nativism is not merely "following the laws on the books". It is very much anti-immigration of all sorts (even legal). If you are a nativist, then he was trying to call you out as your position is decidedly at odds with conservatism.

If you're a nativist, you're at odds with America's greatness. Try to change the subject to boogie men who haven't been in power for nearly a decade if you wish, but the fact remains that many of the sentiments Trump used to get elected are contrary to the American spirit.

Because nativism is simply protecting the interests of native inhabitants against those of immigrants. You descriptions are convenient you THINK they fit those you dispise like Trump and Bannon. Sanctuary cities are unconstitutional, but those who defend them use your tired old argument about the conservative boogie man being out to get them so they need protection even if that protection is against the law.

No we're not. You've just been duped by the DC establishment. What we're proposing is the ENFORCEMENT of our current immigration laws. Why would you or anybody else be against this? You shouldn't believe all the fake news that the media spews at you. Think for yourself man.

Conservatives used to believe in federalism. Now, apparently, some support the idea that states should be forced to use their police resources to enforce laws passed in the swamp.
