Geez some of you fans are ridiculous. Jumping ship already? (seen it across multiple threads today) This team is young and doesn't have the amount of experience the teams the past 3 years have had. I love Tech and predicted us to go 11-1 and play in the NY6 bowl for the G5s this season, but even i knew those were delusions of grandeur from homer-ism. This is a rebuilding year, no a reloading year like the past two. Even i knew to realistically only expect around 7 wins. Are there problems? Many. But to freak out and speak of firing all the coaching stuff is absurd (except our special teams coach whoever that is, that guy should be jobless)

thats what i feared. Those duties need to be delegated then cause he obviously can't coach special teams. We have to have the most field goals blocked this year and seems like every game the opposing team has a couple huge kick returns

Make our OC the special teams coach, maybe you will hear his name mentioned every once and a while. I cannot imagine what occupies our OC's time unless he is Skips office boy, someone please tell me what Skip let's him do.

I'd like to go back to Hogdawgs post from earlier in the year which showed how many close games Skip Holtz/Louisiana Tech has managed to lose. This year alone we've won by a touchdown, sputtered and lost at USC, lost to UAB by a blocked field goal, and collapsed against Southern Miss. You might could blame all this on young talent but I've been watching Skip's UNINSPIRED football teams drops games they should win for years now.

I have to believe there's a lack of leadership/intensity at the head coach position that spills over into the players and onto the field.
