Coaches can coach him up in practice, simplify the offense, encourage him endlessly, etc etc... but at the end of the day, they can’t play the game for him. Some times it’s not coaching and just lack of execution on the player’s part.
Let’s face it, J’Mar just isn’t that good.

Very few 2 sport stars. Maybe J’Mar would be good at one if he focused.

Let’s face it, J’Mar just isn’t that good.

He's playing TERRIBLE, but he has the physical tools to play the position well. He can make all the throws, I've seen him do it. He can run when he's not prancing around trying to avoid contact. He's seems to have the intellect to play the position. I think that being named starter was too much for him too soon, and now we seemingly have no other options. I'm hoping that this won't be wasted experience and next year he's a different QB.
