No problems with the red out. "White" T...the "Red" T sucks on the red helmet...

No problem with the red out for me either, but we should only do it if our emphasis is to wear blue every other game. Think of how simple this is......Penn State, white out......Texas A&M, maroon out. Of course I could deal with us wearing red, white, or blue if we could depend on 25k every game.

Ha! 25K per game would be nice but not going to happen on a consistent basis.

That's my deal. No point in having a "red out" if you dont have a blue baseline. Smattering of all sorts of colors on gameday, so why focus on red? Huge branding problem imo.

Ding ding you're a winner with the whole branding thing. Our largest fan/alumni base is Shreveport/BC. There's more LSU, ULL, NSU, Miss St, Ark stuff than Tech stuff in stores around the area. Even Hibbets in Ruston Home of La Tech...for Pete's sake there was more LSU crap than Tech stuff...REALLY! In Ruston...WTF! Hibbets in Ruston, you should be a shamed of yourself or those responsible for Tech marketing needs to find a new game plan as does the athletic department.

That happens when your admin sends them a threatening letter telling them to stop drinking at pre game tail gates or they will be ticketed.

Speaking of the walking dead, what’s Skip Holtz record after a bye week?

    Walking Dead?

A young team that is trying, finds a little success, then starts "showboating," gets in a fix, then coaches go crazy trying to make adjustments to circumvent the "assignment abandonment" thereby confusing the young team leading to play-by-play lapses.

(There's gotta be a better way of making this point)

Another observation - the linebackers are almost makeshift from game to game (due to injuries). This also may be affecting the OL.

    N'est-ce pas?

Coach comes over every year for Tech luncheon at Ralph and Cacoos -- every year he has open question time-- I have started last 3 years by asking " who's the leader" -- he never flinches and rattles off 3-4 players -- this year he mentioned that team likes Barnes but that was it--I think he was hoping someone would step up, recently Boston Scott mentioned we needed more player leadership. Guys who refuse to lose -- Bates- Dixon- Sokol- Xavier-Driscal- Higgins-Trent etc.. It is easy to say that's the coaches job but for folks who have competed their whole life you understand you need leaders who are playing next to you. I may be wrong but put any one of those guys on this years team and we would be 6-1 or 5-2. That's what I think is missing....

COYHCSH refuses to start one of his proven leaders and his best RB in Boston Scott. How can he lead from the bench?

Maybe it’s like Obama. Leading from behind.
