    Slow Offensive Play Signaling

After the fairly quick play in the opening quarter w got very sloooow again getting the offensive play calls in vs USM. It is taking Holtz forever to decide on the next play to call and it finally gets signaled in with just 10-15 seconds left on the play clock. Then J'Mar has to make sure the players are all set, read the defense, and hurriedly get the ball snapped before a delay of game penalty is called.

How many times did we watch J'Mar franticly clap his hands to snap the football to beat the play clock? Our offensive coaches are not helping our young QB and WRs to feel comfortable. It is time for the coaches to figure out how to get our offense playing faster, because as we've seen many times- when we can consistently play faster and get a defense on their heels our offensive execution is worlds better than what we are seeing now.

It's been tough to watch all year.

I'm not sure I'd have walked away feeling much better last night had we won.

It seems characteristic of Hotlz, no urgency, no excitement, no passion...

I had the same thought as I left the Joe.
