I really cannot even imagine a stranger turn of events than this past weekend, but we have already had 3rd and goal from 12? (80-90 yds) this year, that was pretty strange. So NO, lets not try to come up with anymore strange and unique ways to lose, we have met our quota!

On another thread we talked about how something is missing from this team. I said I couldn't put my finger on it, but I knew we had it when Hunter Lee was on the team. If we don't get back whatever that missing thing is, I'm afraid it will be bad news for Tech football.

Do you mean when COYHCSH refused to play Hunter as much as he needed to be played? He played more in 2011 than he did in 2012 and 2013. Coaches gotta play the guys who keep them getting in the high schools they want to be in.

I would say after five years these players now were all picked by Coach Holtz. So the group of players we have now must be just what he wants even if it isn’t exactly what Louisiana Tech has historically fielded.

Watch this entire 2.5 minute video by psychologist Dr. Rob Bell. Afterwards you will clearly understand why Skip Holtz will never take us to the next level. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3nsGo4beAE

LOL, no wonder I’m such a character, I’ve dealt with 50 plus years of adversity.

Good stuff, but NOT surprising at all for most of us.

Bottom Line: If you're going to lose, it's better to lose on your own terms than it is to lose on somebody else's.

What’s surprising to me is that Holtz doesn’t just play prevent defense, he plays prevent offense as well.

Why is it so hard to recognize that when something works, you keep on doing it.

How did the saying go a few years ago? "We snatched defeat from the jaws of victory."

    "Come-from-ahead loss" works too.
