Playing time. You tell him he's going to get a fair chance at playing time, and then you see that he does. I know, playing time is a novel concept that you never even considered.

    Nothing crawfishing about that.

I guarantee you Jack Abraham is going to come back to haunt us. Letting a fire plug like him walk out the door was foolish in the first place. The fact that he was so quickly offered by Southern Miss tells you he does have talent.

You earn your playing time. Abraham quit, you have zero evidence that he didn't have a fair chance to earn it.

Jack Abraham quit because he was dealing with college football's version of Kim Jong-un. Some of his former players will tell you that Skip Holtz is very, very stubborn about players. Otherwise we would have already seen Westin Elliot get some playing time this season and Boston Scott would be the starting RB. LA Tech's very poor offensive statistics dictate that somebody else should get some playing time at QB besides J'Mar. That's a fact. You can't argue the stats.

We suck at QB, J'mar is the best option.

Never said Craft was out best RB. I said it doesn't matter who takes the first snap of the game. Do you struggle with reading comprehension?

You are the one with the Holtz crush who keeps saying he knows how to evaluate talent. According to you J'Mar is the best we have and was the best back in the spring. It does make a difference who takes the first snap at RB. You start your team leader (Scott) and the best (Scott), not the one you insist is the best in all the interviews. Who gives a crap how they do in practice? We've seen who is the best in real time.

Well, back in the day.... if you didn’t practice worth a damn you didn’t play!

Re: Week 10: UNT (11/4) HOMECOMING

I have advocated for Boston Scott to be our featured go-to guy. Just like KD was. I like Craft and, in a proper offense with a REAL OC (be that Holtz or whoever), he would be a major contributor. But, he is nowhere close to Scott in what he can do for an offense.

In KD's freshman year (2012) no one really knew him so defenses didn't key on him. Dixon was able to run the ball successfully. Toward the end of that year, and in 2013 (when we had QB issues) opposing defenses really keyed on KD. It became tough for Dixon to run the ball. So, we started flaring him out and throwing to him. That put the ball in his hands in open space. In 2014, his junior year, he was a marked man. Opposing defenses schemed to stop him. So, we started seeing KD going a little further down field, into pass patterns. Yes, this was mixed in with him still running the ball to keep defenses honest. By 2015, his senior year, KD was running patterns 20-35 yards downfield. It was the only way to get him the ball. Otherwise he'd just been bottled up in the backfield.

All that to say: Boston Scott could be another KD-type offensive weapon. I would feature Scott just like we did Dixon. But then...I'm not as smart as Holtz or this eagle2180 guy who thinks ONLY Skip Holtz is capable of knowing anything about football.

Also, is it me or does our videoboard look bad? It's not bright enough for day games and it looks blotchy looking (you can see the individual square led panels).

You're not worthy to know. I'll tell everyone but you. You'll have to drink a lot of beer with me before I'll tell you.
