FAU vs LA Tech 12-Month Review

Next weekend we play FAU. It is amazing what a difference a year can make in college football.

In 2016 hapless FAU finished 3-9 overall (2-6 CUSA). They fired HC Charlie Partridge last Nov and hired Lane Kiffin in Dec 2016. In 2017 that new staff is 6-3 overall (5-0 CUSA) and likely headed to a CUSA Championship game vs UNT, whom they utterly destroyed 69-31 three weeks ago. They are HIGHLY AGRESSIVE and lead the conference in scoring- overall and in CUSA games. They are beating CUSA teams on average by 21 points per game!

In 2016 LA Tech finished 9-5 overall (6-2 CUSA). We extended HC Skip Holtz's contract by 5 years. In 2017 we are now 4-5 (2-3 CUSA). We may finish 4-8 overall (2-6 CUSA).
